Bo is a pastor, teacher, and writer. He maintains a blog (bobowenblog.com), and also currently hosts a podcast focused on the intersections of faith and culture, As You Go.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a secondary teaching certification, and a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He has previously served as a missionary, first to New England and later to Germany, has worked in various churches as Student and College Pastor in Texas, and served for the last five years as Discipleship Pastor at Dunwoody Baptist Church in Dunwoody, Georgia.
Bo and his wife, Leigh, have three children, Katy Jo (8), Annabelle (7), and Brennan (3).
Pastor Larry has a long, distinguished history of leading churches. He left a successful career with GTE(Verizon) to follow God’s call to ministry at churches in Tampa, Louisville, Atlanta, and Norcross. He began as the NEC Executive Pastor in February 2015. His passion for helping the local church reach their God ordained potential is surpassed only by his love and devotion to the Lord and His Word.
Pastor Larry is married to his wife Margo of 55 years. They have two sons and four grandchildren.
Trey Bradley is a husband, and worship leader from Lagrange GA. He and his wife began partnering with Northeast church’s Worship Ministry in early 2019. Trey is a graduate of Truett McConnell University with a degree in Music and Worship. He loves making music with God’s people. When not at church Trey enjoys working with his hands, spending time with his wife and their two dogs.
Eric is a Student Pastor and a Basketball Coach for WJMS. He enjoys most sports, watching movies, studying and going on mission trips. In June of 2017 he responded to the call of Northeast Church to become the Children’s Pastor. In August of 2018 he transitioned into the role of Student Pastor and currently leads in the Next Generation Ministry at Northeast.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical and Theological Studies from Liberty University with some Seminary under his belt. He is originally from Asheville, NC where he served at Biltmore Church in many areas of ministry including College, Operations, and Children’s Ministries.

Karen is from Thomaston, Ga where she grew up as a member of Trinity Baptist Church and participated in many church activities. She graduated from at the University of Columbus with a major in Music Education and a minor in English. She played the Cello in the Columbus Symphony, the college Orchestra, and Piano at 3 church services each Sunday. She started her career as an Orchestra Director and taught strings to grades 4-12. An accomplished pianist, she also taught private piano lessons when her children were young. Throughout the years she has been the interim choir director at several churches.
Her business career flourished when she purchased a Promotional Advertising Business in 1986, and later took her business knowledge and became the Associate Producer of a TV show that profiled businesses in the Metro area and aired on WSB for 8 years.
She has been on the Board of Directors for Trafficking in America Task Force which was dedicated to educating America of the prevalence of Human Trafficking; Bishop Outreach which was dedicated to rescue and restoration of trafficking victims; and Pathway East Walk to Emmaus. She is also involved with Northeast Georgia Tres Dias.
She and her pastor husband, Gary, retired in 2018 and moved to Braselton where God called her to the position of Church Secretary at NEC. They have 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Karen and Gary have a heart for helping those in need in order to show them Jesus.
Kim was born and raised in Austell, Ga and now a native of Winder, Ga where she lives with wonderful and supportive husband Wayne of 36 years. Kim has 3 children and 8 grandchildren ranging in age from 17 years to 17 month’s.
Kim loves spending time baking, going to grandchildren’s sport activities, golfing with husband and enjoying time with family.
Kim is a very strong woman in her faith which has lead her to be a part of the NEC family 7 years ago.
Kim knew that NEC is where she was meant to be part of and started as a volunteer for 2 years before becoming a part of the NEC staff for 5 years. Kim currently holds the position of Ministry Resource Director and looks forward to continuing serving the Lord in any way that he leads her.
Debra is a native Georgian. She worked for the IRS in Accounting for about 10 years and in Information Technology for 15 years. She took an early retirement offer after 25 years of service.
Debra has two adult children whom she enjoys spending time with. She loves gardening, reading and doing anything where she can use her creativity.
Debra has a Real Estate License because she enjoys working with people. She believes finance at Northeast Church has been her ministry and she looks forward to what has in store for the future
